ZANIS-Central Province Permanent Secretary MILNER MWANAKAMPWE says the new dawn administration is looking at boosting agriculture and mining to turn around the economy of the region.
Mr MWANAKAMPWE says the people of Kabwe the provincial hub have been wallowing in poverty despite the region boasting of a vibrant agriculture sector.
He said in Kabwe that authorities will work on the poor infrastructure such as roads to attract more investments to the region especially in agriculture and tourism.
And Kabwe district Commissioner LENOX SHAMWAMBWA says Kabwe a transit town has potential in various economic sectors to improve people’s livelihood.
