A Lusaka man has been arrested for presenting fake documents to the Health Professionals Council of Zambia – HPCZ- with a view to obtaining a branded lab coat.
TRYSON CHIVUBWE is alleged to have presented a fake registration certificate to the officers at the Council in order to get a lab coat.
This happened two weeks ago at HPCZ headquarters in Olympia Area of Lusaka.
And HPCZ Public Relations Manager TERRY MUSONDA has confirmed the incident to ZNBC News.
Mr MUSONDA said after officers verified the suspect’s documents, it was discovered that they were fake.
He said staff at HPCZ later handed over the suspect to Police for further investigations.
Mr MUSONDA has appealed to Health Practitioners to always follow the law when dealing with the Council.
