(ZNBC)-The ABSA Cup sponsorship fund has this year increased to 4.4 million Kwacha while the prize money for the winners has been increased to 700,000 Kwacha from 650,000 Kwacha.
ABSA Managing Director, Mizinga Melu has disclosed the development during the ABSA cup 2023 draws.
Ms. Melu added that prize money for the goal keeper of the tournament and top scorer have also been increased to 25,000 Kwacha each.
Meanwhile, Green Buffaloes has been drawn with forest rangers while red arrows will play Muza FC.
Power Dynamos is scheduled to play Mufulira Wanderers and Green Eagle’s will compete with Trident.
And Sports Minister Elvis Nkandu has thanked ABSA for complementing government’s efforts in promoting sports.
