(ZNBC)-A Zambia Army Officer in LUSAKA has died after the frenzy of the new year where he was hit and injured by the back burst of a star shell which he was handling during the countdown.
Staff Sergeant KELVIN MULIMA died in the early hours of yesterday at MAINA SOKO Military Hospital after the incidence.
The funeral of the late Sergeant MULIMA is being held at his house number LC-C 482 in LUSAKA West Military Camp.
Sergeant MULIMA joined the army on April 01,2005.
Meanwhile Zambia Army Commander SITALI ALUBUZWI is saddened by the death of Sergeant MULIMA.
Lieutenant General MULILIMA has conveyed his message of condolence to Sergeant MULIMA’s widow PATRICIA, children and the family .
