(Sportbible)-Bournemouth players will no longer walk out to Kanye West after the rapper’s anti-Semitic comments.
The song ‘Power’ had been used as the walk-on music by the Premier League side.
But following the American’s anti-Semitic outburst on Twitter, the Cherries have scrapped the music.
That’s according to the Bournemouth Echo, who claim the song has been ditched after concerns had been raised over the use of his music.
Bournemouth have used the song for a number of years, but a new track will be used for Saturday’s home clash against Tottenham.
Several international companies have terminated their relationships with the 45-year-old, who has legally changed his name to Ye.
One of them being sports brand giants Adidas, who recently cut ties with West – saying it ‘does not tolerate antisemitism’.
“After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately, end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies. adidas will stop the adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect.”
Madame Tussauds in London has removed his waxwork and his talent agents CAA have separated with him.
