(ZamFoot)-The Zambia national team succumbed to a 4-2 loss on Thursday in an international friendly match away in Israel.
Two quick goals and two late goals gave the Chosen Team a well deserved win at the Hamoshava Stadium in Petah Tikva.
Stand-in coach Moses Sichone named a strong side with Patson Daka, Klings Kangwa, Emmanuel Banda, Lubambo Musonda and Lameck Banda all starting.
After a slow start Zambia had a clear chance to open the scores, Patson Daka through on goal after a beautiful pass from Klings Kangwa but the Leicester City forward failed to beat Omri Glazer in the Israel goal.
The Chosen Team took the lead in the 21st minute as Tai Boribo beat Toaster Nsabata from close range.
Three minutes later Dean David doubled the lead at the far post with a simple node after the Chipolopolo defense failed to clear a corner.
Zambia started to push for a goal but their best chance was a long range effort from Rodrick Kabwe which was pushed out for a corner.
Sinchone made a change in the 30th minute withdrawing Benson Sakala and in his place introducing Rally Bwalya.
The match went to the break with Israel keeping their 2-0 Comfortable lead.
In the second half Zambia looked to be more purposeful. Ten minutes intos the second stanza, Klings Kangwa pulled one back after Rally Bwalya won the ball back just outside the box.
It was level at 67 minutes after Rally Bwalya rose highest to head in a Lubambo Musonda cross.
With everything going for Zambia and controlling play in the dying minutes, Israel went ahead in the 89th minute after a shot deflected off Emmanuel Banda to beat Nsabata.
Israel scored another after a quick counter attack with Itamar Shviro scoring with a fine finish inside the area, 4-2 the match finished.
The match was being used as part of preparations for the back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Lesotho in March next year.
