England based Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka has broken another record at Leicester city football club after scoring his fifth goal for the club last night in the UEFA Europa league when the foxes thrashed polish club Legia Warszawa 3-1 a the king power stadium.
Daka opened the score line for the foxes in the 11th minute from close range after dribbling passed two defenders inside the six-yard to become Leicester city’s all time record goal scorer in European inter-club competition history , surpassing club legend and English striker Jarmie Vardy who has four goals for the club.
The Chipolopolo striker also became Leicester city’s second highest goal scorer this season in all competitions with six goals to his name in twelve appearances below Vardy who tops the chart with seven goals in sixteen appearances.
Daka has one goal in the premier league and five goals scored in the Europa league where he is also joint second top scorer in the competition below Cameroonian and Lyon striker Toka Ekambi who tops with only six goals.
