The European Union will spend 50-million Euros or about 1 billion Kwacha to improve health and other social issues in communities in North Western Province.
The programme targets early childhood education development and adolescents.
Team Leader, Social Sector and Governance Councilor BOGDAN STEFANESCU says his team is in the Northwestern Province to identify new projects to be supported.
Mr. STEFANESCU was speaking when he called on the provincial administration.
And Northwestern Province Permanent Secretary GRANDSON KATAMBI assured the EU that the government will ensure that there is credible accountability of the funds.
Colonel KATAMBI said the government values such linkages aimed at creating and improving the health status of the community.
