President Hakainde Hichilema says there is need for Zambia to continue putting measures in place to ensure investment and trade come into the country.
He has explained that this is why government is maximizing various opportunities to woo investment in the country by holding side meetings with key stakeholders.
President Hichilema has stated that during the side meetings held in Qatar, government was able to attract investment in various sectors.
The Head of State was speaking this morning at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, shortly after arriving from Qatar, where he was attending a UN conference for Least Developed countries (LDCs).
And President Hichilema says LDCs have agreed to work as a group to accelerate development and graduate to middle income status.
