Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary Kangwa Chileshe has commended Investrust Bank PLC for it’s support towards women’s sports developmentin the country.
Speaking when he received a cheque of K500, 000 donation on behalf of the ministry Mr. Kangwa said the gesture by the bank is gratifying and a step in the right direction to the development of sports in the country.
Mr. Kangwa added that the donated funds will be channeled to various women sporting disciplines.
Mr. Kangwa used the moment to encouraged the cooperate world to emulate Investrust Bank PLC’s gesture in sponsoring various sports under his ministry.
And that they too can find some sectors under the ministry to partner with the government in developing the sports activities across the country.
He has since thanked Investrust Bank PLC for expressing there trust in the new dawn’s governmental agendas across all sectors.
