MTN Zambia Foundation has launched the MTN Skills Academy, the first of its kind in the country, as part of its Digital Skills for Digital Jobs program. The initiative was graced by the presence of key dignitaries, including the Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts, Hon Elvis Nkandu, MP, and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Technology and Science – Dr Brilliant Habeenzu, among others.
The MTN Skills Academy aims to address the challenges faced by Zambian youth, such as unemployment, limited digital literacy, and insufficient skills. Through a collaborative effort between MTN Zambia Foundation, MTN Zambia, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Technology and Science, and other business partners, the Academy seeks to develop digital technology producers and consumers.

The Academy is a testament to their commitment to creating impactful solutions that cater to the needs of Zambian youth, enhancing opportunities and addressing unemployment.
