Nchanga North Hospital gets facelift

NCHANGA North General Hospital is currently receiving a major facelift using the 2022 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) aimed at improving health service delivery to the people.

Nchanga Member of Parliament Derricky Chilundika said that five major projects were being carried out at the hospital.

 

He explained that he was happy that the funds were released and were being used to improve the infrastructure at the hospital in line with the Government’s vision.

 

“As a way of the new Dawn Government fulfilling its campaign promises, Nchanga Constituency has continued directing CDF to projects in line with the 2021 campaign promises and we will ensure that is achieved,” he said.

 

Mr Chilundika said the works include renovation of ward five, sinking of a borehole, installation of a water tank, water pump, buying of two extra mortuary units,

 

Other works include construction of a police post, paving of driveways among other works.

 

Similar works are underway such as construction of theatre wing, female ward, paving of drive way at Kabundi East clinic which was earmarked for upgrade to a min hospital.

 

The projects under implementation in the morning Constituency is on line with promises made by the government and that it was walking the talk.

 

He said the Government under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema had reaffirmed its commitment to develop the welfare of citizens by use of CDF and challenged the public to take an interest in utilization of funds.
