PROVINCIAL AIRPORTS TO BE UPGRADED – TAYALI

Transport and Logistics Minister FRANK TAYALI has directed the newly appointed Board of the Zambia Airports Corporation to ensure all Provincial Airports are upgraded with terminals and fire fighting facilities.

Mr. TAYALI says all Provincial Airports must have their runways tarred by next year and other amenities completed within five years.

Speaking when he unveiled the Zambia Airports Corporation Board in Lusaka this morning, Mr TAYALI tasked the board to ensure the Kasama Airport is completed by December this year.

The Minister also urged the board to get title deeds for all Airports countrywide.

The new Zambia Airports Corporation Board is led by ZEVYANJI SINKALA from the Law Association of Zambia LAZ.
