The Trade Kings Group has announced its three year partnership deal with the Zambia Golf Union (ZGU) to support the development of golf in the country.
The partnership means that trade Kings Group will sponsor various golf tournaments and clubs at different levels.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Trade Kings Group Public Relations and Corporate Communications Manager Bridget Kambobe, said there is need for concerted efforts from various corporate entities to revamp golf in the country.
Kambobe said the Zambia golf team has the ability to reach international level if well managed.
She said golf has in the last three years experienced a lot of disruptions, especially when COVID-19 was at its peak.
And Ministry of Youth, Sports and Arts Acting Director Mable Nedziwe, says sports is a unifier that brings together all people in different categories.
Nedziwe has pledged government’s continued support, in order for all the sports disciplines to thrive, adding that the goal of the ministry is to contribute to the development of sports in Zambia.
She has thanked Trade Kings for its relentless effort in reviving the sport.
Meanwhile Zambia Gold Union (ZGU) President Gregory Lubesha says the support from Trade Kings will make it easy for the union to host a lot of tournaments.
