ZAMBIA’S INFLATION FALLS TO 9.8

The Annual Inflation rate for the month of August has decreased from 9 point 9 to 9 point 8 percent in the month of July.

Interim Statistician General MULENGA MUSEPA has attributed the reduction to the price Movements in food items.

Speaking during the monthly briefing in Lusaka , Mr. MUSEPA said this can also be attributed to stability of the Kwacha against major foreign currencies.
