A horde of stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem have convened at GART Research centre in Chisamba where the groundbreaking innovation and cutting edge solutions take centre stage.

And the Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) is thrilled that the AgriTech Expo 2025, held under the theme “Where agriculture meets innovation,” comes at a time when the country is emerging from the devastating 2024 drought, a season that tested farmers resilience and underscored the urgent need for innovation in agricultural practices.

“As we convene for AgriTech Expo 2025, let us embrace the opportunities before us, harness the power of collaboration, and chart a path toward a more resilient and productive agricultural sector, ” ZNFU President Jervis Zimba said.

Zimba noted that the lessons learnt from last year’s challenges have reinforced the importance of events like AgriTech Expo, where stakeholders across sectors come together to exchange knowledge, explore cutting edge technologies and seek sustainable solutions for the future.

Speaking at the same event, AgriTech Expo Zambia Project Director Lars Huf said the three days event from 10-12 April 2025 unites brightest minds, the boldest pioneers and the most forward thinking professionals from across the globe all with a shared vision of transforming and future proofing Zambia’s agricultural landscape.

“AgriTech Expo is the place to be for anyone eager to stay at the cutting edge of the agricultural revolution,” Dr. Huf said.
