Trump Accuses Meghan Markle of Disrespecting the Royal Family

In his latest rant, Donald Trump says Meghan Markle “horribly” used Prince Harry and “ruined his relationship with his family.” The 75 year-old added that the Duchess of Sussex has been  “very disrespectful to the Queen, who’s such a great woman”.

In his new interview with ex-UKIP leader Nigel Farage for GB news, the former United States  President admitted that he is “not a fan” of Meghan Markle. He noted that their action of  quitting their positions as senior members of the British royal family in March last year, has  caused “great pain” to the Queen.

“I’m not a fan of hers. I wasn’t from day one. I think Harry has been used horribly and I think  someday, he will regret it. It has ruined his relationship with his family, and it hurts the Queen.” He said.

The former US president was asked to comment on Meghan’s recent intervention into US politics,  where she wrote an open letter to the Democrat leaders and then cold-called Republican  senators to push for paid leave, introducing herself as the Duchess of Sussex in both incidents.  Trump said that the Former Actress “is trying to do things” that are “very inappropriate” in his  opinion.

While he made it clear that he has no soft spot for the Sussexes, the businessman went on to  say that he was very fond of the Queen as he was raised to respect the Queen as his mother  was from Scotland.

This is not the first time Trump has criticized Meghan in the Media. Earlier this year He  commented on the rumors that the Duchess was meeting Democrat operatives and may run for  Oval Office, and said that he hopes it’s true. “I hope that happens because if that happens  because if that happened then I think I’d have a stronger feeling towards running. of hers,”.

During the interview, Trump described the Queen as “a great woman, such a great person, a historic person”.

Trump also commented on Boris Johnson, the presidential election, events at the US Capitol on 6 January, Black Lives Matter, the migration crisis in the US and the UK, antifa, and the question of whether he would run for office again.

Boris Johnson has promised to power every home in the UK with offshore wind energy within a decade, pledging to make the coronavirus pandemic a catalyst for green growth.

Trump said that Boris was making a “big mistake” by backing “ridiculous” windfarms to drive the UK’s push to a net-zero-carbon economy. The former US president said he still liked the British prime minister but claimed that he was wrong to support renewable wind energy.
