Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO has dispelled assertions that Government has allowed for the importation of Wheat.
Mr. MTOLO says Government has NOT issued any Wheat Import permits.
The Minister says Government recently met a Committee compromising stakeholders that takes stock of the quantities of various commodities such as Wheat .
He says Government will communicate to stakeholders in case of any developments.
Mr. MTOLO notes that Government is committed to work with Wheat farmers in an amicable manner that develops the country.
He said this in interview with ZNBC in Lusaka today.
