Grizzly mining limited has scooped the Education Infrastructure Development Award at the just ended prestigious 2024 CSR Network Zambia Awards held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Livingstone.
The award recognises Grizzly mine’s exceptional contribution to education, infrastructure development that have built the foundations of knowledge within the mine’s catchment area in Copperbelt and North western provinces.
The mining giant put up a magnificent display in the CSR Excellence in Education category and competed alongside over 50 corporate organizations.
Speaking on the sidelines of the illustrious annual awards gala night at Radisson Blu Hotel on Saturday in the tourist capital – Livingstone, Grizzly Mine Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Manager Davy Phiri said the award reflects the mining company’s efforts of contributing to national growth through infrastructure development.
This award brings us joy. First, we’ve been recognised that we’ve contributed additional development through infrastructure development as the community are key beneficiaries of our robust CSR projects in Lufwanyama district,” Phiri said.
Over 50 corporate organizations participated at the 2024 prestigious CSR awards which were held under the theme, “Embracing partnerships, innovation and impact.”
