Mopani Copper Mines says it has completed the payment of accrued benefits to eligible employees following last year’s shareholding transition from Glencore majority to 100 percent ZCCM-IH.
The last of the three installments were effected yesterday, 28th January, 2022.
In a statement by Mopani Copper Mine Public Relations Manager Nerbert Mulenga, the full payment of accrued benefits to employees does not signify termination of employment.
Mr. Mulenga says no employee has lost – or will lose – their job as a result of this process.
